5 Cool Things Your Smartphone Should Do If It Was Made This Year

Smartphone technology has developed rapidly over the past few years, with our mobile devices becoming an increasingly integral part of our day-to-day lives. Read on as we look at five cool things your smartphone should do if it was made this year.

smartphone-feature

1. Keep you secure online

Today’s smartphones offer levels of online security that were previously unimaginable from when mobile internet was first introduced. Many devices now support HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) protocols, meaning that all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted. This means you can use betting sites amazing.bet like safe in the knowledge that your personal details are kept secure.

2. Help you stay safe

Being out late at night may leave you feeling unsafe, but there is an app that can give you additional peace of mind. It has the ability to record video and audio, track your GPS location and set a timer that automatically sends an alarm to an emergency contact if you don’t turn it off in time.

3. Measure distances

Many people who attempt home DIY have been left frustrated because they don’t have the proper tools for the job. Taking accurate measurements is one area that can leave you scratching your head looking for a solution.

However, there are apps that allow you to measure just about anything through your phone’s camera. Simply point it at the object and wait for the result. Easy! Here are the best apps for measuring distance

4. Share on a bigger screen

Screen mirroring apps allow you to play videos, music or show photos directly from your smartphone onto a bigger screen. Whether you’re looking to demonstrate something to your boss or show holiday photos to your friends, they are great way to bring your small screen content to life on a bigger platform.

5. Send texts from your desktop

We’ve all arrived home or at work and found out that our phone battery is about to die and our charger is elsewhere. If you need to contact someone it is still possible via an app that syncs your phone and allows you to send SMS from your email. All messages linked to your number appear on your computer screen and your phone’s text inbox, making sure you can stay connected.
